Description: Non-profit working with substance abusers. Responsible for the management of employment and vocational related services to individuals who are chemically dependent and receive case management services. The Manager provides supervision to vocational staff to ensure attainment of performance milestones including job placement and retention services; maintains a comprehensive quality assurance process to ensure effective services of vocational staff, employment and training vendors (both HRA and non-HRA), treatment program staff and community based organizations (CBO’s) providing vocational services; develops resources with staff for employment and transitional benefits for clients; conducts presentations and training to foster collaborative relationships with treatment programs, vendors and CBO’s.
Requirements: Bachelors Degree related field with 7-10 years related experience in work force development or a Masters Degree related field: vocational rehabilitation, psychology, counseling, and a minimum of 3 years job related experience. Three years supervisory experience required to counsel, develop, train and evaluate. Certified rehabilitation counselor (CRC) preferred. The successful candidate must possess strong computer skills (MS Word, Excel, Outlook), excellent oral and written communication skills; strong facilitation skills and the ability to analyze data and make recommendations for positive program outcomes.
